For thirty-six hours, your gift will help keep Naugatuck’s history alive, accessible, and meaningful for our community.

During Give Local 2026, the Naugatuck Historical Society is raising funds to support the ongoing work that makes everything we do possible. As a fully volunteer run organization, this work is powered entirely by individuals who give their time because they believe these stories matter.

In recent years, we have expanded our exhibits, increased programming, and taken on new projects as part of the America 250 initiative. Behind the scenes, this means hours of research, writing, planning, organizing, and hands on work each week. From caring for collections and designing exhibits to hosting events and maintaining the museum, every part of this effort is carried by volunteers.

We continue to grow because we believe preserving and sharing Naugatuck’s history is important for our community. Your support helps make this level of work sustainable by providing the resources, materials, and tools needed to keep moving forward.

$10 | Community Supporter
Helps provide essential supplies and materials used in collections care, exhibit preparation, and daily operations.

$25 | Story Supporter
Supports research, preservation, and the sharing of local history through exhibits, programs, and digital content.

$100 | Community Builder
Helps fund exhibit development, public programming, and the tools our volunteers rely on to bring history to life.

$500 | Preservation Partner
Supports larger initiatives including exhibit installations, collections care, and expanded access to Naugatuck’s history both in person and online.

$1000 | Legacy Leader
Provides significant support for sustaining museum operations, supporting our volunteer team, and ensuring the long term preservation and sharing of Naugatuck’s history.

All donors will be recognized by name as supporters of the Naugatuck Historical Society in our Issue 4, 2026 Quarterly.
