Maple St.

Looking east on Maple Street from Church Street, 1912. Neary Building on right, flagpole is on the roof of the fire station, which is not visible in the picture.Across the street is the footwear factory, Building 25, a row of stores, and the old Town Hall. The stores burned a few years later.Looks like road construction on Maple Street. When this picture was taken the Neary Building was one year old and the fire station two. The railroad moved the tracks and the train station that were on Maple Street and built the bridge around 1906. c. 1912

The Neary Building is now located on this site.
