Breen Field

In 1868, the land was owned by Josiah Culver. By 1883, ownership had expanded to include Josiah Culver and Amos Culver, along with M. S. Hotchkiss. At that time, several houses stood near the end of Hotchkiss Street. In later years, part of the Culver property was transformed into what became known as Firemen’s Field.
